In a recent LinkedIn poll, we asked you what you think would most effectively help you navigate menopause at work. Here’s what you said: • 58% of you believe having the flexibility to manage symptoms would be most beneficial • 24% voted for reduced cost employee consultations • 19% think that better organisational awareness is needed To the almost 60% who voted for flexibility to manage symptoms —there’s a better solution. Continue to thrive at work with reduced or no symptoms at all. HRT is the first line treatment for the symptoms that come with fluctuating and declining hormones, and no-one should have to just ‘deal with them’. We hear from our patients so frequently about how they are able to work more effectively when they are taking the right dose and type of hormones for them. For workplaces, let 2025 be the year you offer better menopause care to your workforce. Here’s how we can help: https://lnkd.in/eTHkmgJx And for those experiencing the symptoms of fluctuating and declining hormones, let this year be the year you get the treatment you deserve so you can continue to thrive in your career. A Newson Health study of 1,500 perimenopausal and menopausal women reveals that up to 1 in 4 women may require higher doses of oestradiol to achieve optimal blood oestradiol levels. Swipe through to explore the key findings. They confirm that there is no 'one-size fits all' oestradiol dose, and that menopause care should be individualised — as per the recommended guidelines. Dr Liz Arnold, GP and menopause specialist at Newson Health, has a simple yet powerful tip for navigating the holiday season: “get comfortable with saying no.” The holidays are a time for fun and relaxation, but they can feel overwhelming — especially if you’re experiencing hormonal changes. Prioritising your relaxation and wellbeing can make all the difference. You don’t have to do it all! It is also important to address any hormonal changes by speaking to a clinician who has experience in perimenopause and menopause. What are your go-to ways to manage holiday stress? Share your tips in the comments — your advice might be exactly what someone else needs to hear this season. #Menopause #Perimenopause #HolidayWellness #HormoneHealth #SelfCare #WomensHealth

2025 might just be the time to consider having a DEXA scan. An estimated one in two women over 50 worldwide (who do not take HRT) will develop osteoporosis. Perimenopausal and menopausal women have a greater risk of bone fractures, which can have a major impact on health and wellbeing. HRT can help prevent and repair bone loss and reduce the risk of fractures by 50%. This is because our hormones slow down the rate of bone loss and promote new bone growth. A DEXA scan is a safe and quick scan used to measure how strong your bones are. And did you know we have a DEXA scan machine at our Stratford-upon-Avon clinic?
