Kevin Heath, CEO set the scene by sharing our mission, NHS alignment, the role of pharmacy, and a nod to our 25 year history. Des Hennelly from IQVIA then presented key industry insights from the DSP space, with an overview of the UK dispensing market and Pharmacy2U’s role in this. Chief Marketing Officer, Glyn Williams, Head of Brand, Helen Priestley, and Customer Strategy & CRM Director, Ryan Davies closed the morning’s session exploring how Pharmacy2U is driving the shift to digital-first healthcare. They covered key brand actions, an exclusive look at our upcoming brand refresh, and outlined a customer strategy that maximises pathways to provide tailored care for our patients. #Pharmacy2U

Tuesday’s supplier conference concluded with an interactive panel hosted by our very own Jo Graham, who quizzed our panelists with questions submitted throughout the day by our guests. Panelists covered supplier relationships, discussing how best to put people in control of their healthcare and effectively build on collaborative opportunities with Pharmacy2U. Other topics included our ESG strategy and immediate focus, using AI in marketing, regulatory changes, NHS breaking news, patient pathway specifics, and how we’re growing our pet health offering, looking at synergies with human healthcare. Great to see our guests engaging throughout the day. Our keynote and break-out sessions sparked a lot of conversation. We were delighted to provide tangible actions and growth opportunities for attendees to harness in future strategic planning. Retail and health experts from across the nation came together with one common ambition today - maximising the Pharmacy2U partnership to put people in control of their healthcare. Attendees took part in bespoke sessions this afternoon, collaborating with their dedicated Pharmacy2U representatives across NHS prescriptions, consumer health, and pet care. These sessions gave an exclusive look at developing elements of the business, sparking conversations about how to scale partnerships and benefit from an innovative personalised strategy to reach more patients and deliver joined-up digital healthcare. With the support of these partnerships, our combined digital healthcare platform provides the ultimate destination to truly put people in control of their healthcare. Yesterday, 14 of us from the Marketing and People teams enjoyed a training day with Janetta Murrie, Communications Leader from Plain English Campaign at our Leeds HQ. The Plain English Campaign has been championing crystal-clear communication since 1979, and for our patients and our people, it could not be a higher priority. How do we make heart health more manageable, easier to understand, and more accessible to people across the country? We launch an extensive cardiovascular disease study in collaboration with fellow leading Health Tech pioneers PocDoc With an objective to transform heart health and encourage early prevention, we help Pharmacy2U patients take control of their heart health through free digital at-home cholesterol testing combined with an 8 week Pharmacy2U healthy heart programme. Part of this is a consultation with one of our pharmacists that gives patients the opportunity to discuss ways in which they can make lifestyle changes to improve their results. Patients are inspired and empowered to tackle their heart health with actionable next steps and a greater understanding, ready for them to access whenever and wherever they need it. We have seen an incredible sign-up rate with over 4,000 Pharmacy2U patients in just two weeks and to date conversions and appointment attendance rates have far exceeded our expectations.
