📣 We've joined forces with Sky-House Co. to launch a new housing partnership for Yorkshire! Our partnership has struck an initial deal to deliver 34 one and two-bedroom apartments and 14 two and three-bedroom houses at Sky-House’s Copper Street development, close to Kelham Island, following the granting of planning approval in October.    The addition of professionally managed rental homes will strengthen Sheffield’s response to the nationwide rental crisis, expanding on our existing presence in the city with our Skye Edge and Gell Street developments. Last week, myself and colleagues from HBC Planning and Regeneration had the pleasure of joining Placefirst on a site visit to explore their impressive approach to build-to-rent/single-family rental homes. We gained insight into Placefirst’s commitment to filling a much-needed gap in the Widnes rental market, offering high-quality, professionally managed homes for rent. These developments are a step forward in providing diverse, secure, and well-maintained rental options—key to addressing the UK's ongoing housing challenges. Excited to see these homes come to life at Lunts Heath Rise, having dealt with the original planning application for the wider development.
