Key changes include: ✅ Minimum sample size: now 600ml, with existing rules on labelling, storage, and representative sampling remaining. ✅ New flashpoint testing section: clear procedures for documenting checks, ensuring compliance, without affecting sulphur standards. ✅ Improved accountability: Companies now oversee sample tracking, boosting accountability for off-ship testing. With these guidelines, marine operators must adapt to ensure fuel remains compliant and efficient.
