Turning our plastic problem into a force for good. Award-winning ocean impact reusable bottles.

About us

Ocean Bottle is a B Corp certified reusables brand. With the sale of each Ocean Bottle, 11.4kg of plastic (the equivalent of 1,000 ocean-bound plastic bottles) is collected globally, in coastal areas where plastic pollution is worst. We work with plastic collection partners Plastic Bank, Plastics for Change and Repurpose Global to actualise this collection. Made from a minimum of 65% recycled materials, our award winning durable and dishwasher friendly reusable bottles, cups and flasks are recyclable and part made from recycled ocean plastic. Every Ocean Bottle is BPA Free, made with primarily Stainless Steel and comes with a 10 year guarantee. Since launching in 2019 we have prevented over 1 BILLION BOTTLES from reaching our ocean 🌊

  • Ocean Bottle Impact Report 2023 🌊 We are pleased to present our annual Impact Report for the year 2023: https://lnkd.in/emXh34fP This report serves as a comprehensive overview of our Impact commitments and the achievements and challenges we have experienced in the environmental and social impact space last year. It provides an insight into the extent to which these were achieved and the strategies employed to accomplish them. In today's business landscape, it's important for organisations to evaluate and report on this as it allows us all to assess our contributions to environmental and social issues relevant to our business activities with the aim to have as positive an impact as possible. Our annual Impact Report reflects our unwavering, yet challenged, commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and continuous improvement. We are proud of our achievements so far, but we know it’s only a drop in the ocean. Looking ahead to 2024, we continue to push ourselves to preserve ocean health and combat plastic pollution. Together, we can turn the tide 🤝 #ImpactReport #PurposeDriven #Oceanbottle #OceanConservation #ProtectOurOcean #EndOceanPlastic #PlasticFreeFuture

  • This New Year, help your employees with a resolution they can stick to - one that helps them to protect the planet. In 2024, the average person used 150 plastic water bottles, adding to the staggering problem of ocean plastic pollution. But with one simple swap, you can help turn the tide. We offer a reusable solution. Each bottle not only replaces single-use plastic bottles but also funds the collection of 1000 ocean-bound plastic bottles, making it a gift that truly gives back. Show your commitment to environmental sustainability by gifting an Ocean Bottle to your employees. It’s a tangible way to support their New Year’s resolutions, promote long-term eco-friendly habits, and align your organisation with positive change. Ready to help make an impact in 2025? • We’re turning this Black Friday Blue 💙 This Black Friday we’re taking more for our planet, not away from it. Which is why, for every Ocean Bottle bought, we’re doubling the impact attached to our bottles by funding the collection of 2,000 plastic bottles from waterways before they reach the ocean.   Because for us, this season isn’t about taking prices down but taking plastic pollution out at the source. By amplifying our efforts, we can give (and take) more during a time when our environment often gets overlooked. • No Disposable Cup Day Scroll to see what impact disposable cups have on the environment, why we care about reusables, and how you can help put a stop to single use plastic pollution…… Approximately 2.5 billion disposable coffee cups are used in the UK each year. Despite their paper exterior, most disposable cups are lined with an invisible plastic film that makes them waterproof, but this coating comes with a steep environmental cost. The plastic film used in disposable cups is made from polyethylene, a type of plastic that prevents the liquid from seeping through the paper. When these cups aren't properly recycled, they often end up in landfills or, worse, in the natural environment. Once discarded, the plastic lining can take hundreds of years to degrade - and through degradation, they become microplastics and nanoplastics! As plastics break down into microplastics that can seep into the soil, waterways, atmosphere, even infiltrating our bodies! By choosing to use a durable, reusable cup, you not only cut down on waste but also encourage businesses and individuals to rethink their consumption habits. We offer as range of reusable coffee cups and mugs to facilitate this societal shift: https://lnkd.in/eB7szj4e
