The Paddington Partnership was established over 20 years ago to work with local partners, stakeholders and companies to ensure the area meets the needs of businesses, visitors and the local community.
Central to The Partnership’s work is to present Paddington as a single location rather than a collection of development schemes. Whilst companies have a relationship with their individual landlords through the rent and service charge framework, the Partnership presents the ‘whole’ Paddington through community engagement, events, print, digital and social media, building relationships locally and regionally. The Partnership focuses its activities on issues that affect more than one ‘scheme’, or the area as a whole, often acting as the public face for what is a very complicated location to the layman.
Over the last 20 years we have animated the waterspace, transformed the public realm, established two neighbouring Business Improvement Districts, attracted successful leisure and hospitality amenities to both land and water and created a highly respected Community Programme.
The Community Programme was established in 2004 and today works with some of London’s most demanding and successful businesses to place over 1,200 corporate volunteers a year into more than 50 charities and schools. Our community programme is a bespoke service, in which we design and deliver meaningful voluntary activity firmly rooted in the Paddington community.
