Lived Experience Leaders providing award winning CPD training, keynotes & consultancy that transform children’s services
About us
Our mission is to do good things, with good people for good causes that enhance the lives of children in care, care leavers and those with a social worker. We want to live in a world where care leavers are not influenced by stigma or statistics; but people who are respected and recognised as leaders in whatever they choose to do. That’s why we work with Lived Experience Leaders to provide award winning CPD training, keynotes and consultancy that transform children’s services. We know from our own experience of working with leaders committed to change the power of connecting strategy and lived experience. It unlocks creative energy, provides key insights into lived experience and enables services to evolve and develop with the perspective of those who use them. Ten years’ experience across multiple organisations and projects has shown us the value of an external voice and how a meaningful partnership between lived experience and leadership can lead to impactful change. That is why we work with you in the way we do to support your organisation’s developmental ambitions.

👀 669 views in 8 days! 400 in the first 24 hours! 🤯 Unheard of! I was hoping for 100 people to see it in one month. I’m completely stunned. Thanks to everyone who’s dedicated the time to watch our film on The Family Business. We needed The Family Business because traditional approaches to getting care leavers into employment weren’t working. I want to bring the community to care leavers so they can succeed in employment. And I want you to join me. 🍿 If you’re an employer who would like to learn about how you can change a care leaver’s life, please watch the film 🎥 https://lnkd.in/epM_Nc-H ✍️ and then contact us at thefamilybusiness@suffolk.gov.uk Suffolk County Council Lofty Heights CIC #thefamilybusiness #corporateparenting #communityparenting #jobsforcareleavers
