We’re delighted to support The 5% Club's Employer Symposium, taking place today at London’s iconic BT Tower. It’s been an exciting day, recognising the UK’s leading employers of apprentices, graduates and degree placement students with the official announcement of this year’s Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze members. 🏆 Today’s hybrid event included fascinating insights from The 5% Club’s Mark Cameron OBE and High Fliers Research Limited's Martin Birchall as they delved into the results of this year’s employer audit which benchmarks ‘earn and learn’ training programmes. A real highlight of the day was hearing from the employer panel - Caren Alderwick from CrossCountry Trains, Lee Harrison from RSPCA and Nichola Hay MBE from BPP discussed their strategies for attracting and retaining early careers talent, and shared their recommendations for targeted employer outreach to increase diversity across apprenticeship programmes. Thanks to The 5% Club for putting on a fantastic event bringing employers together in their shared mission of driving skills training opportunities - we’re proud to work closely with an organisation that shares our goal of investing in the next generation of talent and making early careers opportunities more accessible to all. ✨ #Employers #Apprenticeships #EarlyCareers #FutureTalent

Last month marked the end of Clearing, a crucial time for students exploring their options and making their final decisions. During this time, we saw a significant spike in traffic across UCAS’ channels as students accessed Clearing, a tool they use to change their minds, change their plans, and seek better or more suitable pathways 🔍 It's our mission to showcase all routes through education into careers, including university and apprenticeships pathways, to ensure students are equipped with the information they need to explore their next steps. Between 5 July – 21 October we saw a staggering 1.1M views of our apprenticeships information advice and guidance pages and 1.6M page views of apprenticeships vacancies on ucas.com 📈 Get in touch if you’d like to find out more about connecting with students during this key period of time next year as they make decisions about their future pathways. #Apprenticeships #EarlyCareers #TalentPipeline #EmployerBrand
