Sprinting to the finish line.
Olympian Noah Lyles proposed to fellow Olympian Junelle Bromfield in a romantic moment, and the two are now officially set to head down the aisle.
Sharing a video and photos to Instagram of the impressive Oct. 12 proposal, Lyles, 27, showed off his planned popping of the question complete with a candle and sparkler-lit rose-covered heart display with the question “Will you marry me?” displayed on a neon sign.
Bromfield, 26, wowed in a shimmering silver gown as Lyles led her to the floral display where he got down on one knee in a custom black suit with a golden racing stripe down the pants leg.
Of course, Bromfield said yes as her family and friends cheered before she flashed the diamond sparkler for everyone to see.
Lyles captioned one sweet video, “To My Future Wife I Will Love You Forever.”
Shortly after sharing the big moment, the athletes received well wishes from several celebrity friends in the comments section.
Actor Terry Crews wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS!!!”
And Emily in Paris star Lily Collins commented, “Congratulations you both!!!!” Twilight star Taylor Lautner wrote, “LETS GO,” and fellow Olympian Coco Gauff shared several confetti emojis, adding, “congratulations.”
The couple also addressed their guests after the proposal in videos captured by their loved ones on social media.
“I’m extremely happy and grateful to each and every one of you guys,” Bromfield told the crowd in a video on her Instagram Story, “And I hope you guys will also be along with us for the rest of our journey.”
It’s been a busy year for the couple, who competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics this past summer. Lyles received a gold medal for Team USA in the 100m, while Bromfield ran for Team Jamaica after previously receiving a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
