Kicking off the 2BoSS project meeting in Berlin! 🇩🇪 What better way to start our in-person meeting than with a social dinner in the heart of Berlin? - Last night, Cleopa GmbH welcomed the other project partners from Italy, Spain and France for some German food, craft beer, and great conversations 🍻. The 2BoSS project is all about #sustainable battery innovation, but behind the #tech and #science, there’s a strong team working together across borders to make it happen 💪 . For us, building these connections outside the meeting room is just as important as our technical discussions. But today, it’s time to get to work! - We’re diving into project updates, discussing recent advancements, and planning next steps. Cleopa GmbH team members are excited to host partners from IREC - Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya (andreu cabot, Jordi Jacas Biendicho, HAO LI, Sunday LI), Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives & CEA Grenoble (Pascale Chenevier, Michael Carboni), and Politecnico di Torino (gian andrea blengini, Giulia Pezzin, Elisa Accorsi). On the Cleopa side, their dedicated team - Bianca Olschewski, Pauliina Harrivaara and Laura Martinez Garcia is ensuring a smooth meeting while also leading insightful discussions on the different work packages. Stay tuned for highlights from today’s meeting! 🔜

As the #battery industry grows, so does the need for #sustainable practices and environmental transparency. The 2BoSS project has tackled this challenge by developing a detailed Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) 📄 for lithium-sulfur (LiS) batteries, providing critical insights into the materials, #energy, emissions, and waste involved in the battery production🔋. These reliable datasets will contribute to reduce uncertainties and to improve data quality of LCAs in the battery field, providing a solid foundation to obtain meaningful impact assessment results for the industrial-scale production. So, what does our LCI work, led by Politecnico di Torino with partners CEA Grenoble, IREC - Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya and Cleopa GmbH, entail? Check out below! 🔍 ... and more info coming up in our next #newsletter! Subscribe here 👉🏻: https://lnkd.in/dQqGVQgY This LCA was made possible thanks to the contributions of our partners at Politecnico di Torino (gian andrea blengini, Isabella Bianco, Giulia Pezzin, Elisa Accorsi ) CEA Grenoble, IREC - Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya, and Cleopa GmbH (andreu cabot, Pascale Chenevier, Michael Carboni, Pauliina Harrivaara, Laura Martinez Garcia) in the analysis as well as engaging the European Value Chain. #2BoSS #Sustainability #LCI #LCA
