Through its Project Morgan and “Dragonfly,” Airbus wants commercial airliners to be flown by a single pilot on the flight deck during some phases as early as 2026. Any number of in-flight emergencies could occur like the single pilot becoming incapacitated, engines failing, or instrument malfunctions that would require more than one pilot on the flight deck. Single-pilot operations are a gamble with safety, yet Airbus wants it to happen as early as 2026. Read our latest white paper on the risks of reduced and single-pilot operations: https://bit.ly/3Wz1bKi #SafetyStartsWith2 #Automation #AI #Flight

Every worker should have a safe and dignified work environment, but a new International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) report reveals that many aviation workers face violence or harassment at work regularly. We stand with ITF in urging countries to immediately ratify and implement the International Labor Organization’s violence and harassment convention, which mandates laws and measures to protect workers and prevent violent or abusive behavior in the workplace.
