📢 There are still a little over 4 sacred hours left to donate! 4 sacred hours is plenty of time to donate and help American Indian families thrive. Generous donations on Give to the Max Day to https://lnkd.in/gpZjkQnJ allow families like these sisters to celebrate the newest additions to their families in a good way at our annual baby shower. Expecting mothers or mothers of babies up to thirteen months are invited to our annual baby shower to play games, get their pictures taken by a professional photographer, and leave AIFC with baby supplies for their little ones, like car seats and baby supplies. So far, we have raised $5,100 and counting for #GTMD24! Chi-miigwech, wophida thanka, pinagigi, much gratitude to all of you who have donated so far! #Motherandwomensgroup #OurChildrenAreSacred #babyshower #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth

📢 Happy 2024 Give to the Max Day! 📢 Now through 11:59PM, your donation to https://lnkd.in/gpZjkQnJ on Give to the Max Day will help American Indian families thrive! At AIFC, our services and programs are based on the belief that our traditional ceremonies have healing powers. To achieve the balance needed for our American Indian families and communities to thrive, we must incorporate these healing ceremonies and traditions into every part of our operations. This provides our families with a culturally positive approach that supports every aspect of their lives. This past summer, these young men, featured in this picture, learned to put up a tipi! Young ones learning traditional ways helps to build their self-esteem and confidence because they know who they are as Indigenous people. #GTMD24 #HelpAmericanIndianFamiliesThrive #drumanddance #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth
