Did you know? The timing of Thanksgiving was influenced by retail! In 1939, with Thanksgiving falling on November 30, President Roosevelt became concerned that a shorter holiday shopping season might impact the country’s economic recovery following the Great Depression. To extend shopping time, he moved the holiday to the second-to-last Thursday and, in 1941, Congress officially established Thanksgiving as the fourth Thursday in November. With over 25 years of global experience in the commercial real estate and entertainment sectors, Paul brings a wealth of expertise to our team. “Paul has deep industry experience – both mall and open-air – from his time with Caruso, Westfield, URW, and most recently, as COO of CenterCal.
