This new bid seeks original artworks from Cherokee artists for the new health care facility, which may range from Cherokee history and heritage to traditional language and cultural depictions in a variety of mediums and styles. Cherokee Nation Entertainment’s flagship casino property Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa recently held its annual toy drive for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign in Claremore, which supports local children who might not have otherwise received toys for the holidays. “At Hard Rock, we value the ability to make great memories that last, and we believe in creating those positive moments even beyond our doors,” said Martin Madewell, general manager of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. “This gift event is extremely special to us each year because it allows our team to celebrate the spirit of giving alongside our guests and bring joy to local families that lasts a lifetime.” Our businesses proudly support initiatives that give back and make a difference in our communities. The Cherokee Nation Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2025-26 academic year for high school and university students. Last year, more than 100 students were awarded $409,000 in various scholarships. The Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides a diverse range of scholarships to Cherokee students so that they can reach their full potential. Through funds from our businesses, we are proud to invest into educational opportunities for Cherokee citizens and into the future of Cherokee Nation. The deadline to apply for scholarships is Jan. 31, 2025, and scholarship awards are announced in late spring.
