It takes an army to run a live event, and we couldn't be more thankful to everyone who helped bring MTV EMA 2024 to life in Manchester over the weekend. As we continue to announce some of the biggest and best events in the world, and with our schedule growing daily, we are taking a moment to acknowledge all of the brilliant people who dedicate their time to delivering a world-class fan and artist experience, show by show. What an absolute dream team!

After months of planning, and a huge collaborative effort between Co-op Live, our partners and suppliers, Manchester City Council and of course, MTV and Paramount, the weekend saw the MTV EMA arrive in our city for the very first time. It was a very special moment, six months into opening witnessing our stunning venue continue in all its glory, while maximising on our unique opportunity to utilise the full Etihad Campus to host events of the magnitude that Manchester deserves. What a fitting way to celebrate the globally acclaimed event's 30th year, with exceptional performances from the likes of Raye, Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, Tyla and hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes, in a venue built from the ground up with world-leading acoustics and fan experience at its core. What an incredible time so far at Beyond The Music, discussing Manchester’s vibrant music community and how it’s impact can be felt across the globe. As well as Manchester’s own Aitch speaking of his rise to fame and his experience of the industry’s reach outside of London, and NQ’s Michael Adex’s discussing his work as a rising independent label CEO in the city, it was a delight to join Music Minds Matter on a panel to speak of the vital importance of mental health support in the industry… very fitting for World Mental Health Day 2024. #WMHD2024 With some of the city’s most exciting talent set to take to the stage from this evening, we just can’t wait for more.
