Within the EUVECA project, the Southern Danish Network for Training and Skills Development in the #Healthcare Sector has one goal: to break down the silos in regional education and skills development! ✔️ How does the #SDEO intend to achieve this? 🤝 Improve #collaboration between different regional education and skills development programmes. 📈 Increasing the focus on the #patient journey in regional education and skills development programmes, rather than being mainly divided into sharp themes and subject areas. 🎯 Improve the coherence and transition between #education, #skills development and working life. The EUVECA project surveyed many students and professionals to understand training needs for 21st century #skills in #health and social care. 🗒 Respondents from #Denmark, #Norway, #Germany, the #Netherlands, #Spain, #Italy, and #Slovenia ranked very similar skills as most important, notably communication and collaboration. They also ranked these 2 skills as very performative in their respective countries. 📈 Another interesting finding was the 'likelihood of attending training'. Leadership and communication were ranked as the top two. What can we learn from the #EUVECA survey? 🤔 1. Communication and collaboration are very important. 2. Media literacy and green skills are considered the least important skills in every country, except Germany and Italy.
