📣 𝐈𝐎𝐂𝐄 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐥𝟒𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐨-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 We're thrilled to announce that the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE) has joined the Eval4Action global campaign as a co-leader alongside our esteemed partners, the UNFPA Independent Evaluation Office, EvalYouth Global Network, and the Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation (GPFE). We at IOCE are excited to be part of this dynamic and impactful initiative. We recognize the remarkable achievements of Eval4Action over the past few years and are eager to contribute to its continued success. This year is already a landmark one, with initiatives like the EvalTorch, a unifying call to action that will ignite collaboration across governments, parliamentarians, VOPEs, EvalYouth chapters, development partners, academia, and civil society. We are particularly looking forward to the upcoming Summit for the Future of Evaluation (https://lnkd.in/dxd7rv5W) in Colombo this May, which promises to be a pivotal event. I am particularly excited to work alongside my mentor, friend, and long-standing champion of VOPEs, Marco Segone, Director of the UNFPA Independent Evaluation Office, who has been instrumental in driving this campaign and partnership like many of the most impactful global evaluation initiatives. I look forward to collaborating with 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦, Chair of GPEF, and the new EvalYouth Chair, Ana Erika Lareza, whom we welcome warmly. The 2025 Global Outlook for Children from UNICEF Innocenti has been featured in an article by Les Echos. Debt servicing is undercutting vital investment in children’s futures. We know that education is the foundation for building a capable future workforce. When this is shattered, so is a country's economic growth and the possibility of repaying debts sustainably.   Governments, the private sector and the international community need to treat education as a priority.
