We’re excited to announce the kick off of a major #WharfRehabilitation project - a critical project that will extend the lifespan of the vital infrastructure for many decades. A key element of the job includes the installation of 300,000 sqft of #TYFO SCH41 #FRP which is designed to protect and strengthen the wharf #infrastructure. This #CompositeRepair solution will be used to wrap 1,400 #SteelPiles, enhancing their durability and resilience against the harsh marine environment, ensuring long-term structural performance. We’re working with the general contractor, PCL Construction the engineer of record, and the third party inspector to ensure the project’s success. We’re excited for the journey ahead and look forward to sharing updates as we continue to transform this wharf into a more resilient, future-ready structure! #ConstructionInnovation #EngineeringExcellence #Sustainability #MarineEngineering Ahmad Alshwaiki, Tomas Jimenez, PE, MBA
