Hope-Beckham Inc. was founded in 1994 by Bob Hope and Paul Beckham and has served as one of Atlanta’s top independent PR firms since. In 2021, HBI merged with GPR Global, the South’s most prominent Hispanic public relations firm, adding Gina Espinosa as a partner and former Atlanta Business Chronicle Executive Editor Mark Meltzer as Executive Vice President. In 2023, the firm made Gina a named partner and CEO, rebranding the agency to Hope Beckham Espinosa, or HBE. HBE has a successful track record of promoting events and has worked extensively with clients who focus on diversity, including The 100 Black Men of Atlanta, the HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), the Latin American Association, the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and many more. Furthermore, HBE has worked on mental health-related projects including a suicide prevention campaign for Norfolk Southern and general publicity for the Latino-focused mental health nonprofit, Ser Familia.
