  • Catalogues play a huge role driving value and communicating with shoppers – especially at key selling periods. Fantastic to be recognised by Real Media, being nominated in the Liquor Category of the 2024 awards for our 2023 Christmas catalogues. Which banner will win: Porters, Cellarbrations, IGA Liquor or The Bottle-O? Congratulations to all the teams who help bring our catalogues to life and we’re looking forward to celebrating on 18 October.  https://lnkd.in/grq3n68w

  • We can’t wait to support our Victorian venues and retailers with our new shed at Truganina. Jeremy Goodale, GM ALM Victoria shares: "ALM Victoria is extremely excited to be only a few weeks away from moving our logistics and support office from Laverton to Truganina. The new site will increase our warehouse capacity by a third and will also include a 1200sm cold storage facility, which will be used for craft beer storage, events, and sporting club orders. Starting 23 July, we will be moving nearly 13,000 pallets whilst continuing to service our market of retailers and on-premise customers but we’re up for the challenge. The new office will also provide the team a modern and progressive space to work from – a big change from our Laverton offices.”

  • Yesterday Metcash released its Full Year FY24 Results to the investment market. All pillars performed well however, the Liquor pillar continued to outperform in a more challenging market with total sales (including charge through) increasing 1.7% to $5.2bn. Sales growth was underpinned by continuation of the increased preference for localised offers, convenience, tailored ranges, competitive prices and local friendly service. https://lnkd.in/dEd_zeRk
