While it was time to relax over the winter break, the Cavalier Autonomous Racing team and I have been hard at work and in deep preparation, pushing the boundaries of autonomous racing. Through intense practice sessions at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and countless hours of testing, we’ve been gearing up for something truly exciting: multi-car open racing. On January 9th, at the Indy Autonomous Challenge at #CES2025, we’ll be putting our months of preparation to the test. Multi-car open racing brings an entirely new level of complexity-where autonomous cars must not only overtake but also navigate unpredictable dynamics with multiple vehicles on the track. It’s a test of split-second decisions, adaptability, and advanced AI. It’s been a whirlwind start to the year, but this is what we thrive on-pushing the limits of Physical #AI and #Robotics, solving real-world challenges, and redefining what’s possible in #autonomousracing.
