Care for, and keep, your people.

About us

We partner with organizations to give their moms, dads and caregivers the tools to integrate the care of themselves, their families, and their work through group coaching. Our certified coaches lead groups of similarly-situated parents and caregivers through a 12-week program, and a year of dedicated support. These groups act as personal Boards, providing connection, inspiration, and accountability. Rooted in the science of behavior change, our curriculum gives members the tools to find fulfillment across all the dimensions of their life. If you're an organization looking to build a better working world for parents and caregivers, we'll help you: - Track caregiver status - Track & measure DEIB - Create micro-communities that foster belonging & connection - Identify which niche benefits your caregiver employees need most - Identify what changes can be made to attract & retain talented employees who are caregivers & parents Let's grow forward together. Keep in touch: hello@keep-company.com ... From our members: "This was one of the best experiences of my personal and professional life. I left each meeting feeling grateful to be part of such a strong and supportive group. I would recommend it to every working mom I know." - Katie "It’s a lot for me to give up 1.5 hours in the middle of my workday, but every minute was worth it." - Purvi "I feel more empowered to prioritize what I feel I want and need for my personal (mental, physical, emotional) well-being, and I feel less guilty when I take time to invest in myself. I feel happier overall, and so grateful to have been able to develop deeper connections with the members in my group." - Tricia "I genuinely looked forward to each meeting and gained invaluable information. I also feel much more connected to my job and firm and more secure in my choice to work at this firm. I feel like I can be a working parent here.” - Alex

  • 👂Did you know that, on average, we listen with full attention only about 50% of the time? Meanwhile, listening well feels more important than ever. Next week, Adrienne Belyea Prentice, CEO and Co-founder of Keep Company, will discuss "The Career-Critical Skill We Are Never Taught: How to Listen," in an interactive session at #PDI2024. The session will explore what the data shows about “effective listening” and how it can transform the way we connect and collaborate—at work and in life. We’ll be presenting with some great colleagues: Jonathan Lewis-Gill, Director of Wellbeing at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, and H. Sandra Bang, Founder and CEO of Sable Group. ➡️ Heading to Scottsdale on December 5-6? Join us! This session is a great opportunity to reflect on how small shifts in communication can drive meaningful change. We'd love to connect before, during, or after the event! #KeepCompany #ListeningSkills #ProfessionalDevelopment NALP

  • "Make what you need and want explicit" to avoid leaving value on the table, advises Claudia, Keep Company's co-founder and COO. This tenet shows up in our core curriculum, where we cover identifying and communicating about needs to get upstream of burnout and overwhelm. This and other gems in the interview below!

For over a decade, our team has been connecting with and supporting caregivers. And while the national conversation on caregiving is evolving, certain truths remain constant. Many caregivers feel isolated—like they're "the only one." The only one carrying the weight of their responsibilities, the only one in their circumstances. Ironically, there are *53 million* caregivers in the U.S. but so many feel invisible. They don’t identify as “caregivers”—they’re daughters, siblings, fathers, spouses. And because their role feels implicit, finding support can be hard. Without emotional and practical resources, they struggle to balance big roles at work and at home. The cost? Their well-being. The good news? There is another way. A little support goes a long way. For caregivers, simple acts of kindness and acknowledgment can make all the difference. This #NationalFamilyCaregiversMonth, let’s show up for the caregivers. Whether you’re a friend, family member, or employer, think of the people in your life balancing careers with caregiving—caring for an ill spouse, a parent with dementia, a child with disabilities. While caregiving may be one of the most common human experiences – ordinary, even – the responsibility is extraordinary. Let them know they aren't alone. 🌟 #CaregiverSupport #NationalCaregiversMonth #MentalHealth #WorkplaceWellbeing #CaregiverCommunity #FamilySupport #WorkLifeBalance #EmpathyInLeadership #Caregiving #FamilyCaregiving

So, what is Keep Company? Well… how much time do you have? Groups! At scale! Through employers. Parents and caregivers. It’s so many more people than you think! Oh and our coaches are the best. Have I mentioned the curriculum? We know the model works, and has been deeply impactful for members and for their employers, but how we talk about the work we do has evolved a lot - not just as our understanding of our business evolves, but as the market evolves. One of the conversations that has evolved quite a bit over the last few years is around the mental health crisis. 1 in 4 American adults has a mental health condition. 48% of parents report not being able to get through the day. 1 in 2 Americans is reporting acute loneliness. And don’t get me started on youth mental health. And so, as someone said recently, we must invest in employee wellness because otherwise we will pay for their illness. Smart leaders therefore are asking, how can we drive wellbeing and get upstream of this massive mental health crisis? We believe we’re part of that answer. Last week we went to Behavioral Health Tech to see what the market though. The response was overwhelming. We heard from digital mental health platforms and clinicians alike that the industry needs more tools in the tool kit. We need better solutions for treating anxiety and depression, but we also need more tools for combatting loneliness and burnout, like we do. The other reason I know it clicked? Folks understood what we do right away. Little explanation needed. So, what does Keep Company do? We build groups that stick, at scale.

  • One of the burdens of caregiving -- besides overwhelm -- is loneliness. Our members who are caregivers find the connection with their Keep Company group helps extinguish that sense of isolation. It's so important to recognize and make visible the absolutely essential (and largely unpaid) work family caregivers are doing - this November, and every month.

Today marks the beginning of National Family Caregiver Month as recognized by President Biden's Proclamation. Mrs. Carter often said, “there are only four kinds of people in the world–those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers.”   Our nation's 105 million family caregivers provide billions in value of unpaid care and deserve the support and resources they need. They deserve to be seen and recognized for the incredible contribution they provide to their family, friends, or neighbors. RCI and 166 other organizations have called upon President Biden to establish an Office of Caregiver Health at the Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the Secretary. No better time than this very meaningful month.   Thank you, President Biden, for designating National Family Caregiver Month and for encouraging "all Americans to reach out to those who provide care for our Nation’s family members, friends, and neighbors in need to recognize, honor, and thank them." Thank you also to the many bipartisan elected officials and 166 organizations who have supported the establishment of an Office of Caregiver Health. https://lnkd.in/geYMn3ZS

  • Caregivers: Up to 73% of the workforce, and law is no different. Our founder and CEO, Adrienne Belyea Prentice covers "The Caregiver Challenge in Law Firms and How to Address It" (law.com - in comments) Caregiving is not a niche concern, but a reality for the majority of the workforce—including those in the legal profession.  Addressing this challenge is not just a matter of individual well-being, but of good business sense in an industry where turnover costs $650k per employee and retaining talent is a critical factor in an organization’s future success and survival. According to research from Harvard Business School, 73% of employees across all sectors are caregivers in some capacity —whether for children, elderly parents, or other dependents.

  • This week in Arizona, we are bringing the power of groups at scale to the #BHT2024 conversation, and talking about the outsized impact of supporting parents and caregivers.
