Autodesk to Australia | Kev Hogan Vlog Kevin Hogan, our Head of Design & Digital Engineering, is back with another vlog! Fresh off his visit to Autodesk University in the US—a global hub for architecture, engineering, and construction innovation—Kev had the privilege of joining an incredible gathering of industry professionals in Melbourne this week. From architects to clients and trade partners, the turnout highlighted one thing: our industry is waking up to a new tomorrow. Reflecting on the experience, Kev shared: "I was honoured to represent Kapitol Group and share insights from our journey in design and digital engineering—a journey driven by passion, innovation, and the belief that we can build a better future. During my speech, I explored our approach to Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and prefabrication, including opportunities like: 🔹 Switch rooms 🔹 Chiller modules 🔹 Walkways and access towers" At Kapitol Group, we’ve embraced technology to bridge the gap between design and construction, ensuring precision and efficiency. Tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and emerging innovations such as Workshop XR are transforming workflows, fostering collaboration, and delivering better project outcomes. This event was a powerful reminder that partnerships, knowledge-sharing, and digital adoption are redefining construction globally. The key takeaway? Innovation isn’t optional—it’s essential. A big thank you to Autodesk for the opportunity and to everyone who attended, including my colleague Luke Wade for contributing to a dynamic discussion. Together, let’s keep driving change and shaping the future of our industry. Want to dive deeper into Kev’s experience at Autodesk University?
