🚀 Something unique and groundbreaking happened in the Indian AI landscape today: some of the leading doers, researchers and builders of high impact and deep AI tech in India came together in a room to start a journey of building AI tech in the open for India. This was the first technical meetup of the AI Alliance members in India, and it was a full house with AI4Bhārat / Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, BharatGen / Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay , IBM, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, Infosys, KissanAI, LTIMindtree, Meta, Neo4j, People+ai, Red Hat, Sarvam and Wadhwani AI in attendance. This covers startups, academic research groups, GSIs, large product companies and non-profits. Lots of great ideas and energy to collaborate in areas such as Indic LLM alignment, AI use cases, data prep, responsible AI and AI for government.
