We are so proud to have partnered with WMATA on the Better Bus Network Redesign. ❤️ The project, which was recently approved by the WMATA Board, has completely redesigned the Metrobus system to better serve the needs of the DC region’s diverse communities–something that hadn’t been done systematically since the 1970s. At the WTS-DC holiday party last week, BBNR was awarded this year’s Innovative Transportation Solutions Award, which recognizes a completed innovative transportation initiative, solution, project, or policy led by a woman (or in this case, many women). As the consultant team Project Manager, Dalia Leven was honored to help accept the award alongside WMATA’s own Allison Davis. 👏 Congratulations to the team and to the many women who worked tirelessly to achieve this major milestone! LOCUS Truck in action!
We are so pleased to announce this release! 🎉 Decarbonizing Maine’s trucks and buses will be critical to achieving the state’s ambitious emissions reduction goals—a 45 percent reduction by 2030 and 80 percent by 2050. In partnership with the Maine Governor's Office of Policy Innovation and the Future, Maine Department of Transportation, and Maine Governor's Energy Office, we helped develop Maine’s Clean Transportation Roadmap for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles. The roadmap charts a path and makes data-driven policy recommendations for Maine to decarbonize its trucks and buses. The Roadmap aligns with the latest update to the state climate action plan, Maine Won’t Wait. 👏 Kudos to the team: Chris Porter; Karl Reinhardt; Navnit Sourirajan; Mike Carter; Ishraque Sk Md; Aneudi Nuñez; Monte White; Meg Kilkelly; Mariel de la Peña; Ryan St. Martin and Moby Khan.
