MHAH is hiring a Residential Manager and a Peer Support staff person to assist residents in our permanent supportive housing complex in Leavenworth Kansas. MHAH staff held their Annual Retreat and “Fun Day” last month—bowling was a big hit! (We won’t say who got the “Gutter Ball Award!”)

Holiday blues can be even more difficult for persons with disabilities, as these individuals are often isolated from friends and family due to transportation or other issues. Compassionate Ear, the longest running WarmLine in the US needs your help!! MHAH staff were heavily involved in training in November! We trained Guardians ad Litem in Wyandotte County, over 90 first Responders in St. Francis, and over 125 staff of the Kansas City, Kansas Housing Authority!
