“Managers at The Sunrise Project now have a clear understanding around what is and isn’t their responsibility when it comes to employee well-being. Opening the dialogue has let managers know they are not alone, and the new skills they’ve gained have strengthened their confidence and ability to support their team members. We would definitely work with Mind Share Partners again.” —Diana Pasquali, the Director of Learning and Development at The Sunrise Project. The U.S. workforce is experiencing it's lowest level of job satisfaction in recent years. With new job opportunities being harder to come by, more workers are feeling stuck—and detaching. Our 2024 annual impact report is out! In it we reflect on our work over the last fiscal year, and share our vision and predictions for the national workplace mental health movement as we head towards 2025. You can read the report here: https://lnkd.in/dAGD8bN9 🌟 A few highlights from the year include: • Corporate and nonprofit sectors opting for deeper work in well-being. This includes our new collaboration with Hyatt in a global stigma-reducing and storytelling project. • Working with more executives and H.R. leaders to speak publicly about their own mental health and well-being initiatives through our ongoing Leaders Go First campaign and our new Company Culture Change interview series. This is the innovative anti-stigma work that Mind Share Partners pioneered and will continue to expand upon. • Issuing a call directly to employers to stay the course on diversity, equity, and inclusion amid political backlash. • Publishing our first annual Trends and Forecast report that found business and nonprofit executives have an evolving responsibility: workforce sustainability and human capital. Thank you for your continued support, and a special thank you to all of our incredible donors—we couldn’t do this work without you. Please keep us in mind for your charitable giving and corporate matching programs this holiday season.

The CDC shares ways to make retail work environments and workers safer and healthier, especially this holiday season. For example, a few ways to prevent fatigue include: —Allowing at least 10 hours between shifts, so workers can get 7 or more hours of sleep. —Give as much advanced notice as possible for schedule changes. —Ensure that 12-hour shifts do not include excessive workloads. —Consider allowing for variation in workers’ tasks, duties, and positions to avoid monotony and muscle fatigue.
