  • We have officially opened the doors to our new venue in Redfern! After getting the keys less than 2 months ago, the team rallied together to bring the venue to life with a Mountain Culture feel led by our Group Venue Manager Oliver Stuart and Art Director Mike Ellott. We tested the waters (aka the taps) with some our best customers and most loyal fans that have been buying our beers direct from us since day one before opening the doors to the general public on Friday. We were overwhelmed with everyone's support and nearly ran out of beer, twice... but we've restocked the fridges and can't wait to do it all again this weekend. If you are in the area then come check it out!

  • He bowls bouncers at 145km/h and holds the country’s second most important job, Captain of the Australian Cricket team. And now Pat Cummins can also say he’s Mountain Culture’s first investor! We’ve been chatting to Pat for a while now and discovered besides the whole fast bowler thing, we’ve got lots in common: He grew up 10 minutes away, his dad worked at the site next to our Emu Plains factory for 30 years and he’s very partial to a Status Quo or two. But when it comes to investors, we knew the most important thing was they aligned with Mountain Culture’s values. Pat does. So it was a no brainer that we ask him to join us on our journey to help more Australians discover really good beer. He’s got no idea what a ride he’s in for…

  • We're stoked to expand our partnership with ALH Hotels and introduce our new bar inside the New Brighton Hotel. A massive thanks to Venue Manager Henry Cockerton who helped bring our vision to life, working closely in collaboration with Mike Ellott our Art Director. We've taken the mountains to the sea in Manly, where Base Camp will always be pouring 8 x taps of Mountain Culture beer for the good folk of the Northern Beaches and beyond. If you're around this Thursday evening, drop in for a beer and taco on us for our official launch party from 6pm.

  • Thanks to everyone who contributed to smashing yet another record at this years Gold Dinner raising funds for the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF). We're proud to support such a great cause every year and if you want to show your support, you can do so here https://lnkd.in/eAJZ7-e

⭐✨ We've smashed ANOTHER fundraising record! Last night at the Gold Dinner 2024, thanks to the extraordinary support of our dedicated donors and partners, we set a new record by raising a staggering $33.4 million for sick kids. To our wonderful donors - your unwavering generosity has not only surpassed our goals but will also pave the way for groundbreaking advancements in paediatric care. We are forever grateful to our presenting partner Shaw and Partners, gold partner ABC Bullion, silver partner Bulgari, production partner BNT Management, beverage partners Champagne Bollinger, Mountain Culture Beer Co, Calabria Family Wine Group and Santa Vittoria, and our fantastic hosts Matt Shirvington and Natalie Barr. Of course Gold Dinner would not be possible without our indispensable Gold Dinner Committee led by Joshua and Linda Penn, including James Auswild, Alina Barlow, Sophie Curtis, Alessandra Eddy, Katie Evans, Benita Kam, Bernadette Nassif, Kristy Nassif Elias, Kannon Rajah, Bryce Sceresini, Nicholas Smart, Monika Tu, and all our generous gift-in-kind donors. Together, we are not just breaking records; we are making a monumental difference in the lives of sick kids and their families. Stay tuned as we share more from this unforgettable night! 🔗 Read more here: https://brnw.ch/21wJnGr

  • A true collaboration is about more than just making a beer, it’s about hanging with like-minded, good people, having a beer and sharing some experiences together. Working with the team from Byron Bay that blazed the trail for craft beer in Australia has always been on the bucket list for us. The name Backpack Ale was inspired by the respective, iconic travel destinations in Australia that we get to call home. One of the great qualities about Stone & Wood Brewing Company is their association with Byron Bay and its lifestyle, which inspired us when selecting the Blue Mountains as the destination for starting up Mountain Culture. Big shoutout to Patrick Coulson, Dane Pitman, Caolan Vaughan and Pete for making the trip down for an epic couple of days and to brew your Stone & Wood’s first ever Australian brewery collab.

  • Rocket launches aside, our brewers put so much time and effort into the recipe and creation of APL, the newest member of our core range. After undergoing months of R&D to get the recipe just right, you could argue this is our most refined beer to date. What is also pretty cool is that we use locally sourced Australian ingredients in this beer, with malt being sourced from just 20 minutes down the road from our brewery, hops from the high country of Victoria, and fresh Mountain stream water from our own backyard. Brewed in the Mountains, easy drinking everywhere.

  • The team that party together, win together!🏆🍻 Whilst it means so much to the company, this win is for all our amazing staff and giving them the glory they deserve for the all the hard work they put in each and every day to brew the best beer in the country and keep craft beer fun! We would like to thank everyone once again that took the time to vote for any of our beers this year in the GABS FESTIVAL Hottest 100, and of course, Status Quo. And a big shoutout to all the other breweries that made big jumps in the standings this year and especially those who made the top 10! Balter Brewing Company BentSpoke Brewing Co. • Come and join our team at Mountain Culture! We're on the hunt for a Brewery Production Manager at our Emu Plains production facility. In this role, you'll have complete oversight of the factoring, heading up the brewing, packaging and quality teams whilst also becoming a pivotal member of our leadership team. If you think you're ready for the challenge and to be a key member of Australia's #1 brewery, then check out this opportunity!

  • As we commence 2024, we just want to take a minute to thank everyone of you guys for your ongoing support. We've got some exciting plans for the year ahead so stay tuned for updates throughout the year! On a separate note, this is the final week of GABS FESTIVAL Hottest 100 voting and we're trying our hand at taking the top spot again. We have an awesome team that works so hard every day and this award is as much for them as it is for anyone else. A vote for Status Quo is a vote for our Mountain Culture as a whole and it gives us the best chance of getting back on that podium. So if you have enjoyed a few of our beers (whether Status or something else) in 2023, then we would really appreciate this favour for the team with a vote for Status Quo. https://lnkd.in/gZMPg32M Cheers to 2024!🍻 DJ, Harriet & Team MCBC
