The Makers Future Fund breaks down barriers to financial growth by providing grants, expert coaching, and peer support to creative entrepreneurs. With guidance from industry leaders, participants learn to develop business models, financial projections, and long-term plans to achieve their business goals. Why does this matter? - Maker entrepreneurs are essential to our economy–small craft businesses are present in 99.9% of U.S. counties and making invaluable contributions in their local communities - Yet, 80% of makers say capital access is their biggest challenge. And, for makers of color, this gap is even more pronounced—20% are less likely to receive bank loans than their peers. On November 13, Hunt & Bloom held a day of shopping to benefit Nest at their store in Houston, TX!
