SVQ les Premières Nations de la #CB montrent la voie à suivre pour parvenir à une consommation nette zéro grâce à l’Initiative sur l’énergie propre pour les Autochtones de la C.-B. (IEPACB)? Depuis 2016, l’IEPACB a versé 26 M$ pour soutenir plus de 100 projets d’énergie propre dans les communautés des Premières Nations de la Colombie-Britannique. Mise en œuvre par New Relationship Trust, l’IEPACB a contribué à : 👉🏾réduire suffisamment les émissions de CO2 pour retirer l’équivalent de 128 000 voitures de la circulation pendant un an 👉🏾générer suffisamment d’énergie propre pour alimenter plus de 3 600 foyers 👉🏾créer près de 1 400 emplois dans la province Nous sommes fiers de soutenir l’Initiative sur l’énergie propre pour les Autochtones de la C.-B. qui permet à la province de se diriger vers un avenir plus vert pour tous. Since 2016, BCICEI has delivered $26M to support over 100 clean energy projects in First Nations communities across British Columbia. Supporting scale-ready tech companies across rural and Indigenous communities in #BC. 💻 PacifiCan contributed $1.9M+ for Accelerate Okanagan to help launch Ascend BC, which aims to generate high-quality jobs, grow competitive industry clusters, and accelerate globally successful businesses from B.C.’s interior. The $3.98M initiative includes financial support from ETSI-BC (Economic Trust of the Southern Interior), Innovate BC, and Provincial leaders. Ascend BC is a collaborative effort that brings together regional innovation hubs and Indigenous partners, including: ● Hubspace in City of Prince George ● Okanagan Indian Band ● Westbank First Nation ● Central Interior Business Accelerator (formerly Kamloops Innovation) ● KAST (Kootenay Association of Science and Technology) This initiative will strengthen Canada’s economy by providing entrepreneurs in the interior of #BritishColumbia with access to tailored mentorship, fractional executive services, and peer and capital networks. The three-year project will champion made-in-Canada solutions and help B.C.’s scale-ready companies overcome growth challenges, access resources, and build their capacity to succeed in local and global markets.
