The mission of the Permian Basin Association of Pipeliners is to advance pipeline engineering, operations, safety practices and education for the mutual benefit of the members and the industry. The primary purpose of the Permian Basin Association of Pipliners (PBAP) is to provide an opportunity for "peer-to-peer" networking for men and women involved in the pipeline and related industries. Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Hilton Garden Inn in Midland. Meetings include a time of networking, a buffet, and a speaker. Topics range from safety and technical issues important to the industry, governmental affairs affecting the industry, and academia's efforts to prepare and influence the next generation toward a career in the oil and gas industry. A secondary goal of the Permian Basin Association of Pipeliners is to provide scholarships to students who are pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree in science/technology/engineering and have completed at least 20 hours of coursework or to students who are are pursuing an applied technology associate degree or certificate in an industry-related field and have completed at least 6 hours of coursework.

Congratulations to our new President of the Permian Basin Association of Pipeliners, Shelby Campbell. Shelby has been an active member since 2020 and has worked her way up from Event Coordinator, to Treasurer, to Vice President and now President. Shelby was also one of the founders of the Delaware Basin Association of Pipeliners. In 2020 she also started her Business Development career with WHC Energy Services, where she is still employed. She is currently on the board of the Natural Gas Society of the Permian Basin, Permian Basin GPA, her homeowners association, and is a new mother to a beautiful baby girl. Thank you for your time and dedication to the growth of this organization, and for your efforts in fundraising for scholarships and the community. We look forward to a prosperous couple of years under your leadership.

This week, PBAP members volunteered with their families (and Bible study groups) at 3:11 Ministries filling Christmas bags with hand-picked clothing, shoes, blankets, and toys for underserved children in our Permian Basin community. The very next evening, ONEOK teamed up with the PBAP to serve again!
