"What makes a good energy audit? In a few days, the period in which many large Austrian companies have to submit an energy audit will come to an end. e7 is working on various fronts to create the best possible audits as efficiently as possible. On the one hand, by participating in EU-Life projects such as #KNOWnNEBs Project and #EE4SMEs, we can look beyond the horizon to see how things are going in other countries and also contribute to market development through the results ( KNOWnNEBs Project is creating a great efficiency tool), and on the other hand we rely on the software tool yessa - your energy saving smart assistant, which greatly speeds up the creation process because it simply relies on standards. In this whole area, one question is becoming increasingly important to me: what characterises a good audit? When would you say that is a good audit? How does a good audit differ from a ‘not so good’ audit? What is your opinion? Of course, this question also depends a little on the perspective from which you look at it."

✈️Ready for take-off: KNOWnNEB's methodology entered pilot phase!✈️ 🔬 Our project has entered an exciting new stage: the pilot phase, where our innovative energy audit methodology are being put to the test! 💰 The KNOWnNEBs methodology doesn't just estimate potential energy savings, it also quantifies the #nonenergybenefits of implementing energy efficiency measures. 👩🔬During this phase, each of our 9 project partners will conduct #pilotaudits at a national level to apply and refine the methodology in a real-world setting. This week, our Austrian partners from e7 energy innovation & engineering had the opportunity to give a presentation on "Energy Efficiency in Procurement and Operation" at the symposium of building auditors of the Austrian Court of Audit (Rechnungshof Österreich), informing the audience about KNOWnNEBs project and the Austrian implementation of the Energy Efficiency Act. We would like to thank all participants for this opportunity.

KNOWnNEBs in Press! 🇦🇹📰 Our Austrian partners have some exciting news: The latest issue of ÖKO+ reports on KNOWnNEBs Project! ÖKO+ is a trade magazine for economy & ecology of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. Reference is made to the added value of energy audits, because it is usually not just pure energy savings that an audit brings. However, this requires both acceptance on the part of the companies and co-operation in the preparation of the audit.
