We are thrilled to share some fantastic photo’s (courtesy of @jackjdesigns) from an unforgettable weekend, where we proudly sponsored a unique road rally in support of the halow project, which makes a significant difference to the lives of young people with learning disabilities. Over the last weekend in October, 15 iconic Citroën Deux Chevaux – a true French classic – embarked on a memorable journey from Hampshire to Le Mans and back, all for an inspiring cause. The adventure kicked off with a dash to Portsmouth, then a scenic ferry ride to St. Malo, followed by a picturesque route through the French countryside. The journey brought motoring enthusiasts face-to-face with the legendary Le Mans circuit, featuring an exhilarating stretch along the Mulsanne Straight! Our CEO, Mark Mathieson MBE, along with his navigator, the talented professional racing driver Jody Fannin, joined in the rally, meeting incredible people who share a passion for both cars and charitable activities. It was a weekend filled with great company and scenic views that generated valuable awareness and financial support for the Halow project. PurpleSector and Harwich Haven Authority are excited to announce a new partnership to develop innovative solutions for port operations. The project, SEAS (Smart Efficient Automated Scheduling), will utilise motorsport-derived concepts to optimise scheduling, reduce carbon emissions, and lower costs. The feasibility study will focus on Harwich’s pilot vessel operations, evaluating the feasibility of applying SEAS technology to enhance efficiency and sustainability. If successful, the project will move forward to a full proof of concept development. Team PurpleSector Racing competed in the EnduroKA 24-hour race at Anglesey this past weekend 🏁 We had a strong start with successful testing on Friday despite lacking some straight-line speed. There was impressive driving from both Mark Mathieson MBE and Matthew Bawtree, with Mark leading the charge on Saturday and Matt taking us through the night. Our team's consistent pace and strategy saw us fighting for a top 5 finish but a minor gearbox leak meant we finished P9 after 24 hours of intense racing—an incredible achievement for our team!
