The footsteps of our nation's Indigenous peoples can never be erased. As we come to the end of Native American Heritage Month, we must continue to honor the impact made by Native Americans and American Indians on our multiracial democracy. #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth

“We can mourn, but we need to get back to remembering who we are, where we come from and what debt we owe to our ancestors.” Read USA TODAY's recap of Facing Race. https://lnkd.in/gdbrwDxg

A powerful day it was, Britt Hogue. See you in 2026!
The past few weeks have been… a lot. But on the final day of Race Forward’s Facing Race Conference, the joy is uncontained and unmistakable. As evidenced by at least 300 people doing the electric slide at 9:30am here in St Louis. Thousands of leaders, advocates, elected officials, and organizers have convened to share, learn and strategize on racial equity and the creation of a fairer future - for all. We have shaken off the grief and distraction, and we’re facing the current situation with clear eyes, focus, and unapologetic energy. Speaking of joy, the incomparable Joy-Ann Reid and Alicia Garza just hit the main stage. It’s going to be a powerful day!

Coming to you live from Facing Race: A National Convening, the next National Health Equity Grand Rounds on November 21 at 2:00 PM CT will be hosted in-person and streamed to a virtual audience at the largest multiracial, intergenerational racial justice conference in the United States.
