🌵I help You HEAL + ALIGN + MANIFEST

I’m grateful to be included as an Interpretive Partner for this amazing Charles Gaines: Numbers and Trees (Arizona Series) Exhibition at Phoenix Art Museum 🙏🏽 Stop in this evening for First Friday with some friends/fam/colleagues (or a solo art stroll), and let me know what you think. You can also read my interpretive label of Charles Gaines’ piece titled Freedom’s Jubilee ✍🏽 Thank you to Phoenix Art Museum for considering my art advocacy within our community a foundational contribution to our partnership and including my perspective and voice. cc: StylePHX

Executive Director/Founder at Million Dollar Teacher Project

Today marks a special milestone – Million Dollar Teacher Project turns 8 years old! 🎉 It’s incredible to reflect on how far we’ve come since starting this journey. What began as a vision to uplift and celebrate our teachers has grown into a movement. We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way – our teachers, partners, volunteers, and community. We’re also celebrating in a special way today, with Benji’s birthday party/mixology class with our most dedicated Teacher Fans! His joyful spirit reminds us why we do what we do – for the next generation and the incredible educators who shape their future. Here’s to many more years of empowering teachers, creating brighter classrooms, and making a lasting impact. From the Amazing AZ Farm to School! "Breaking Ground for Farm to School Month: A Community Speaker Series was a virtual event designed to set the stage for October's Farm to School Month. Each day of the series we "broke ground" on new ideas and practices with a diverse lineup of Maricopa County-based speakers from the Arizona Farm to School Network. Sessions featured insights from teachers, school food service directors, UA Extension representatives, and community educators, all dedicated to strengthening connections between farms, schools, and communities. We're excited to share the recordings of these presentations with you. We hope they continue to serve as a valuable resource for your Farm to School initiatives and inspire new ideas for your programs. Let's Keep the Conversation Going! https://lnkd.in/gp6XJgpS Did you know that azfarmtoschool.org has a community discussion forum? After watching the presentations, we invite you to share your thoughts, questions, and ideas in our community forum on azfarmtoschool.org. At an art show, the DJ stepped away to use the restroom, Angelica filled in spontaneously and was immediately booked for another art show, that momentum snowballed for over a decade. Favorite past achievements was her radio show, ‘RoseWax Vinyl Club ‘, on KDIF 102.9 LPFM, the first all female radio show at the station. Currently, she can be found at her 8 year old son’s soccer games and also at “Cafecito -Y- Pintura, Cruda Sundays”. 🌻Kara White is a long-time valley resident with deep "Windy City" roots.
