TCMU is excited to share a few new offerings for birthday parties at the GVL museum! 🎁 Want to avoid crowds and create a truly memorable experience? Imagine having the WHOLE MUSEUM to yourself! You can when you host a private party at the museum! For only an additional $200, you and your guests will receive full access to the museum from 6pm-8pm. ✨ Want to add MAGIC to your party? Expert magician Tim Whitlock will wow guests with a 30-minute long interactive, mind-blowing magic show! Bring unforgettable fun and excitement to your birthday party!

We hope to see you tomorrow for our opening of our newest exhibit, SEASATIONS! Explore the sights, sounds, and textures of the ocean! Discovering sea creatures and the importance of conservation. This hands-on sensory adventure will have imaginations swimming wild!  Here's the schedule for Saturday! All of these activities are included with admission.

GOOD NEWS ALERT! Something remarkable is happening at the Hands On! Children's Museum in Hendersonville, NC! It has been transformed into a Family Resource Center to serve WNC families and TCMU’s on-the-go van delivered cleaning supplies, water and more to help their efforts! Check out some of the ways they’re serving those impacted by Hurricane Helene: 👶 They transformed their gift shop into a FREE grab-and-go zone for infant and toddler supplies. 🍼 They have a huge supply of donated frozen breast milk and formula. 🩺 Doctors have been on site offering FREE medical care. 💛 Plus they’re providing access to counselors, printers, internet, work areas and more! We are so proud of our NC neighbors and honored to play a small part in the way they are serving their community!

The International Play Association (IPA World) is thrilled to host its 2024 Conference, The Child’s Right to Play, RIGHT NOW!, in Greenville, SC. This event marks a significant milestone as IPA USA celebrates its 50th anniversary, bringing together educators, child advocates, and play enthusiasts from across the country and right here in the Upstate. The conference is dedicated to advocating for every child’s right to play, emphasizing its critical role in education and childhood development and TCMU is honored to be a part of it!
