The Patricia Sagawa Corpsmember Relief Fund Winter Cycle opens Sunday, November 24! 💸 The Sagawa Relief Fund is designed to offer financial support to #Corpsmembers facing conditions that may prevent them from serving or completing their term of service. 🚨 Join us for a #webinar on Thursday, November 7 to explore the new Corps to Climate Careers initiative! Huge federal investments in climate resilience and sustainable communities have created a growing and immediate need for a "climate-ready workforce." Service and Conservation Corps are ideally positioned to develop this #workforce. Supported by the Annie E. Casey Foundation and in collaboration with The Brookings Institution and Urban Institute, #TheCorpsNetwork will make the case to the recipients of climate resilient project funding from the #BipartisanInfrastructureLaw and #InflationReductionAct that Corps should be part of this work. We need help from our member Corps organizations to gather important information about the current and potential impact of Corps in climate #WorkforceDevelopment. This upcoming webinar will cover the exciting, potentially game-changing new Corps to Climate Careers initiative and provide opportunities to ask questions and get involved.
