The 2025 RMA CRO Outlook Survey, prepared in collaboration with Oliver Wyman and published by ProSight Financial Association, provides a snapshot of the evolving risk landscape bank CROs face today. Cybersecurity remains the top concern for 63% of respondents, with rising regulatory demands putting credit risk, liquidity, and capital under increased scrutiny. Still, there’s optimism: of the 177 participating respondents, 35% expect economic conditions to improve in 2025, up significantly from last year’s outlook. And with 84% of risk leaders now actively involved in corporate strategy, it’s clear risk management is central to banks’ business planning.
