𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗻 -> 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁 I often talk about the importance of how you start your day This old adage from the software world came into mind: “Garbage In, Garbage Out” The quality of what you put into a system is at best what you're going to get out of that system. A few months back, I woke up in the morning. → The head's spinning → Off to the races.  → What are all the things I get to do?   → What are all the things I have to do? → I realized that I was scrolling the news feeds first thing in the morning.  → What happened yesterday?  → Anything new?   → Scrolling through some social media accounts. This started me thinking, is this really the thing that I want to be putting into my mind first thing in the morning? That quiet time when I have the most energy.  𝗡𝗼! It's a distraction. It keeps me from thinking about some of those things that I may be worrying about.  I had to change this and it was just a small change. I focused on some podcasts I like around: → Personal growth.  → Professional growth. → All things about shifting a mindset. …Instead of looking at the latest news feed or social media accounts. I incorporate this now into my morning routine. It sets me in a different place.  → I feel like I've learned something.  → I've taken something new in.  → I've nourished my mind  → I've nourished my soul for the day. Then I can be fully present for those who I want to be of service to the most.  These small changes made a big difference for me. “𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘅 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻” Sometimes, I need a new environment to spark fresh ideas…and maybe a new gadget. Today, I went into town to a local breakfast shop. Alongside my coffee and eggs, I’ve got my new Boox Air 4C. I’m really enjoying the handwriting (reMarkable user) and the combination of other tools on a device that is at least less distracting than my laptop. I’m still learning the Boox platform but enjoying being able to annotate just about anything and have access to many other tools in one place. Being somewhere new with lots of natural light breathes some fresh air and perspective into my day. 🔹 Try a new environment that inspires you. 🔹 Bring tools that align with your work style. 🔹 Embrace simplicity—a small adjustment can lead to big changes. The results for me today? → Fresh ideas flowed easily. → Surrounded by natural light and healthy food, it felt great. → Something about a new environment moved me to new places. 𝗡𝗬𝗖, 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 I’m in the city today prepping for an in person event I’m hosting called: "The Human Side of AI" When I’m doing creative work, I like to change my environment. Something about being somewhere different with lots of natural light unlocks things in my brain and helps with new ideas. I decided to put this event together because I’ve been on dozens of AI calls and webinars and listened to many podcasts over the past year and there often is not enough emphasis (IMHO) on the human side of this technology. In speaking with many business owners and business coaches I’ve been hearing things like this: → They get isolated in thoughts about the future → Their hearing the same ideas cycling around → Concerns about AI feeling overwhelming Scrolling through articles and listening to PodCasts about AI. → Some inspire them. → Some terrify them. → And some leave them stuck, asking, “What does this mean for me and my business?” This got me thinking about the power of groups and shared learning so I put together this event. 𝙄𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. **Not just the “what” of AI—but the human side:** → How does it fit into our lives? → How do we address concerns and fears? → How do we stay current with what is happening? → How do we lead with empowerment instead of overwhelm? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜” 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁.
