Learning from Apollo: it’s not necessarily Moonshots we need to ensure a safer future... Apollo drove quality excellence across the system and inspired ecosystems of capability, rather than point source successes. When pundits point to successes, they often celebrate point source successes; e.g. a Dyson or a Branson. In reality, value drivers are from clusters of capacity, not single point sources. In the 21st century, these clusters don’t have to be geographically located, however they do have to be aggregated around shared goals and definitions of excellence. We believe an ecosystem around advanced civil resilience would create a ripple effect. What if the UK started exporting the ability to build a safer, cleaner and healthier world? We'll be discussing these ideas and more on the 28th of October in Oxford with the European Space Agency - ESA, University of Oxford and leaders in commercial space and AI. https://trillium.tech/css Pierre-Philippe Mathieu 🚀 Anna Hirsch-Holland, Simon Jackman, James Dancer, Michael Collyer
