Does it really make sense to switch from LevelPlay mediation to Applovin MAX just because of user acquisition (UA)? 🤔 Is the UA impact strong enough to justify the expensive switch, with the possibility of dropping ad revenue? What are the pros and cons when considering performance, ease of integration, and overall results? My feeling-driven thoughts: • It’s possible that there will be a drop in ad revenue, maybe a short-term drop, but still, it’s something we can’t afford to ignore when investing in UA. • Expected drop of our main ad network Unity Ads • Applovin is currently our worst-performing ad network • UA on Applovin may not work for our game. • I feel that the Applovin MAX dashboard is not as good, and due to the lack of our data capacity, the dashboard is an important factor for us. • No switch bonus I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Spotify and Rapido ads within a video game? Interesting concept I came across recently! 🔥 While scrolling through the App Store, I saw SimCity BuildIt mobile game listed on the Top Free Chart, and I thought of reinstalling it after almost 5–6 years. 📲 While building the city, I saw some interesting ads displayed within the game. These were not in-purchase ads, but Display ads (without sound) that were smartly added to the in-game billboards. 📱 I was awestruck by how smartly the game developers at Electronic Arts (EA) made this possible. 🤯 I used VPN to check the game ads and was surprised that they displayed ads according to your region.
