SPRING HAS SPRUNG! ALLERGIES ARE HERE!🌸 Seasonal allergies affect people of all ages! 👨🦳👶👩🦰 Here are some tips for spring allergies: 1️⃣ Stay well hydrated When you are dehydrated, your nasal passages are dry and it’s harder for your body to clear out allergens. 2️⃣ Leave shoes at the door Carrying in all the outdoor allergens can affect the air quality in your home. 3️⃣ Use nasal saline rinses Cleaning out your nasal passages after being outside will help get rid of allergens before they cause symptoms. 4️⃣ Change filters in your home Fresh, clean filters will help minimize the circulation of allergens inside the home. 5️⃣ Increase citrus fruits Increasing foods high in vitamin C can help fight off allergy symptoms. 6️⃣ Shower at night Showering at night instead of the morning keeps you from breathing in the outdoor allergens that collected in your hair and on your skin throughout the day. 💐Happy Spring! 🌺 #wecare #oldfashionedcompassion #frederickmd #mountairymd *This is purely educational and not intended to be medical advice. https://lnkd.in/eACJ8PN5

What You Need to Know about Allergies Allergies can be a really crazy, but understanding them can make all the difference. Basically, an allergy is your body's way of overreacting to something harmless, like pollen, dust, or certain foods. It can trigger annoying symptoms like sneezing, itching, or even more serious reactions. So, what can you do if notice some symptoms? First off, if you know what you're allergic to, try to avoid it. If it's pollen, maybe stay indoors when it's super windy, or use air purifiers to clean the air inside your home. If it's food allergies, always read labels and be cautious when eating out. But let's say allergies catch you off guard. Don't worry, there are some first aid measures (as a first aider of course) you can take. For fever-type allergies, over-the-counter antihistamines can help calm down the symptoms. If it's a more severe allergic reaction, like trouble breathing or swelling, that's when you gotta call for help! In all, still see your doctor to ensure you are fully okay. Remember, allergies might be annoying, but they're manageable. Just stay informed, take precautions when you can, and know when to seek help if things get serious. Have you encountered any form of allergies before? How did you handle it? #Allergies #healthcontents #contentwriter #letstalk

Seasonal Allergies??? Constant sneezing, coughing, watery eyes.. and then the sinus infections. Oh, the sinus infections and the never ending cycle of antibiotics! Seasonal allergies used to plague me too. But, now, that’s a thing of the past. I RARELY have allergy issues at all anymore. Even when allergens are high, like they are now. I’m good. Allergies are an immune response. ProBio5 restores your gut (your immunity power house ), and therefore, can significantly lessen, or even completely get rid of, seasonal allergies! Sometimes even food allergies! I’ve seen both happen numerous times. Do you suffer from allergies and want help? #allergies #seasonalallergies #guthealth

Aaaagh….allergy season is incoming. Do you get allergies/hayfever/seasonal symptoms? 🤧😵💫🥴 If you have read my profile, you will know I Lurve dark chocolate & a mutual appreciation practically guarantees our friendship 😉 I often recommend it to clients who are re-training their sweet tooth and as a pre-workout BUT For clients with histamine intolerance, which results in allergy symptoms: runny nose, itchy eyes/mouth/ears/throat, nasal congestion, itchy skin, dizziness, nausea, headaches & bloating……dark chocolate (& milk choc) is to be avoided. It slows the metabolism of histamine & triggers your bodies release of internal histamine. A miserable combo for an already overloaded histamine level 🤧🥴😵💫 Maybe switch it for a sliced apple with almond butter (not peanut!) I know it’s not the same 🙄 But until you get on top of the root cause of your histamine release, it’s the kindest thing for your allergy symptoms #histamineintolerance #darkchocolate #allergyfree #immunehealth #onlinenutritioncoach #clinicalnutritionist ———————- *I am in fact friends with people who don’t like chocolate because then I don’t have to share it!! 🐷🍫😋
