🌍 Empowering communities: The impact of MPower’s energyhubs in Zambia 🌞 We’re excited to share an update on our EEP Africa energyhub project following a recent site visit to the Southern Province of Zambia. This initiative aims to build 10 new EnergyHubs across Monze and Mazabuka, transforming lives through clean and reliable solar energy. The EnergyHubs are more than just hubs that provide solar energy—they are community game-changers: 🌍 Reliable power: Social institutions like health centers, schools, and community halls will have uninterrupted electricity for critical services and thus improve the lives of residents in nearby communities. 🌍 Economic growth: The hub supports local businesses by providing affordable, sustainable energy, as well as providing a space with uninterrupted electricity. This creates income opportunities for communities. 🌍 Job creation: From construction by local craftsmen to ongoing operations, every hub generates at least three permanent jobs. The impact is clear—these hubs ensure that rural communities gain access to energy while also growing a sense of self-sustainability and community growth. Locations like Hamapande, Chipembele, Hanjalika, and Chitongo in rural parts of Southern Zambia have been carefully selected for this transformative project. We’re grateful to our partners such the EEP Africa,  the local councils and the communities for their support as we continue to expand clean energy access.
