Upgrade alert from Finland! 📢 Four regional airports operated by Finavia —Ivalo, Kittilä, Kuusamo, and Rovaniemi— have reached the highest level of Airport Carbon Accreditation, Level 5! Thanks to transitioning to renewable energy, these airports have impressively reduced their carbon emissions by 98% ⚡ 🔋 Finavia's operations at all 20 of its airports have been carbon neutral since 2019, and they're committed to reaching Net Zero emissions across the entire network by 2025. Level 5 establishes a blueprint for achieving a Net Zero carbon balance at airports. At this level, airports must achieve and maintain Net Zero in Scopes 1 and 2 (direct and indirect emissions under the airport's control), while tackling Scope 3 emissions (indirect emissions outside of the airport's control) 🌍 ✈ Onnittelut 👏 Discover more details in our press release 👉 https://lnkd.in/enVcFQpX
