Coaching as a Manager 🤝 A few months ago, I created and delivered a workshop on coaching for Managers with the goal to train managers in improving their coaching skills ❤️ Why is coaching so important? 🤔 💪 It helps motivate your employees: - You set goals linked to your daily work and tasks. 🎉 Improves the confidence in your people: - Having a manager that sees your potential and wants to help you reach your goals is priceless. ⏩ Increases productivity: - Doing tasks aligned with your goals and company goals, as well as something you enjoy, will boost motivation and productivity! My favourite coaching model to use is the GROW model. It's easy to grasp, but practice is key to feeling confident using it seamlessly during 1:1s or informal team settings. Practice makes perfect, and soon you won't need documents to guide you through each step of the coaching model 😊 PS: Grateful to my manager Caroline Woolff for believing in my ideas and vision for creating great workshops.
