Bayer | Crop Science’s Post

#HealthForAll and #HungerForNone start in the fields, particularly for #SmallholderFarmers. Read more about Bayer joining the Zero Hunger Private Sector Pledge to help farmers create a world where no one goes to bed hungry.

I've talked about my memorable experience last year in Kenya meeting farmers there, and I can't emphasize this enough: Empowering smallholder farmers to produce more food not only helps them to improve their livelihoods, but also strengthens their communities towards a better future. More than half a billion smallholder farms produce a third of the world's crops, and they need support in farming innovation, technical know-how, and credit & market access. No one can do it alone, that's why we joined the Zero Hunger Private Sector Pledge & committed $160 million to empower farmers through climate-resilient crops and building a global network to share knowledge in our Better Life Farming centers. Together with our partners, we can help farmers grow more food and leverage our collective expertise & resources to build strong communities and create a world where no one goes to bed hungry. #HealthForAll #HungerForNone
