You know the feeling when you put your heart and soul into something and it takes on a life of its own? That’s how I feel about #ZinnovConfluence. Seventeen years ago, Confluence was born from a brainstorming session between Pari Natarajan and Karthik Ananth, driven by the belief that technology leaders in India needed to come together to build a common narrative, exchange ideas, and understand the power of the collective – GCCs, formerly known as captives/GICs. Whether it was serendipity or foresight, the leadership at Zinnov always believed in the GCC story. In 2008, I attended the first session as a new employee, just out of college – in a room with only 50 people. The most distinct thing I remember is Pari painting the vision that this is a community that will become one to reckon with, and Confluence should have at least 5,000+ people in attendance. Today, it is no longer a vision but a reality. The 17th edition of Zinnov Confluence stands tall among the slew of GCC events. It is not just a gathering but an ethos reflective of Brand India on a global platform. I’ve personally run Confluence for 15 of the 17 years, and it will always be more than just another event on the calendar. It is a labor of love, a reflection of our deep understanding of the ecosystem, customer obsession, and our passion for building communities. Go Where Your Customer Are ✈ We took this learning to our heart. So, I packed my bags and went to Europe for three weeks to meet our existing Customers and explore new connections. Meeting face-to-face with our valued clients was a true highlight. We ate, we drank and one of them also took me for dance 🕺 Attending major events like #VivaTech and #ViennaUp opened up lot of horizons for me and our company.
