#Molybdenum Wire cut molybdenum wire is a kind of consumable material made of molybdenum and other precious metals, which has high interlayer peeling strength. This kind of molybdenum wire plays an important role in wire cutting processing. It moves continuously under the high voltage electric field as an electrode wire to carry out pulse spark discharge etching of the workpiece and cut metal forming. Under the condition of high temperature and heavy load, the coating has high interlayer peeling strength, so it has excellent wear resistance. This characteristic makes molybdenum wire an indispensable material in metal thermal spraying technology, which is widely used in the surface thermal spraying of piston ring, synchronous ring, gearbox and other auto parts. In addition, spraying molybdenum wire can also be used to repair worn mechanical parts, such as bearings, bearing bushes, crankshaft, and can be used as an intermediate transition coating. The electrical, mechanical and geometric properties of molybdenum wire are very important in wire cutting. The electrode wire needs to be able to withstand large cutting currents, and the transmission of energy must be very efficient to provide high-frequency pulse currents, resulting in a high surface finish. At the same time, the mechanical properties of electrode wire such as tensile strength, memory effect and elongation will also affect the machining effect. In terms of geometric characteristics, wire cutting molybdenum wire needs to have the geometric characteristics with minimal error to ensure machining accuracy. In addition, the use of wire cutting molybdenum wire in the secondary cutting process can significantly improve the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the processed workpiece, reduce the surface roughness, and increase the hardening layer of the cutting surface, improve the life of the die.

This is a hard business 💎 Turning of a cemented aluminum oxide ceramic ( 1.300HV) with ultra diamond inserts. I am currently considering the cost-effectiveness of turning and milling ceramics compared to the conventional grinding process in several projects with clients.📈 The machining with geometrically defined cutting edges has a direct advantage as soon as it comes to machining complex contours. 📹🐌 In this video, we turned off the coolant for the recording. The worlds most advanced turbine blade grinding and polishing system: The MTS machine tool from IMM in Germany. The MTS allows the automation of polishing and grinding of all kind of turbine blades such as forged, milled, cast and printed blades and vanes up to 2.200 mm in length and 800 mm chord width. The MTS is a robust machine with a long track record. The process delivers reproducible and repeatable results - perfect airfoils; every time. It takes blade and airfoil quality to the next level and the process is extremely fast with rapid polishing cycle times. The machine is enclosed and this helps to protect workers and operators from harmful dust, vibrations and noise. As the use of coolant eliminates any airborne dusts, the wet processing of blades prevents any heat induced damage of the airfoil at the same time. A nice side effect of the coolant is significant reduced abrasive media costs compared to any dry polishing and finishing processes.
