I was looking into booking a speaker (motivational/sales type) and did a simple google search for cost. Some of the big names you see on social media, Goggins, Frisella, Thomas etc are in the $150-200k range. I'm a big believer in getting what you pay for...but what should I expect to get out of a 1 hour speaking session for a sales team? I'm not considering spending that kind of money but does anyone in my network have experience with this kind of booking and was it worth it? And who is up and coming that I need to know about??

Back in London again. And this time I brought the rain with me. ☔ No gigs this week unfortunately. This time I'm here for something far more important... It's Email and Copywriting training time for the Leyton London sales teams. One of the big questions so far has been around the CTA and what gets the best quality replies. There's the perennial question about asking for the meeting vs asking for interest. Does it really matter all that much? Honestly I'm not sure it does. We can get too hyper focused on the smallest elements or our emails, the subject lines, the CTA etc. That we forget their purpose. To start a conversation. That might not come from a reply, but from being memorable enough when we make that next dial. Standing out is more important than ticking the "good email writing" boxes. #Sales #SalesEnablement #ColdEmail #Prospecting #ColdOutreach

The line "Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears" is a famous quotation from William Shakespeare's play "Julius Caesar." It is spoken by the character Mark Antony during Caesar's funeral oration. In this context, Mark Antony is attempting to capture the attention and sway the emotions of the crowd to turn them against the conspirators who assassinated Julius Caesar. When relating this line to email marketing, the intention is to emphasize the importance of capturing the audience's attention and engaging them effectively. In email marketing, the subject line serves a similar purpose to Mark Antony's opening plea. It needs to be compelling and intriguing enough to make the recipients want to open and read the email. Just as Mark Antony sought to influence the Romans through his oration, email marketers aim to influence their audience by delivering persuasive and engaging content that encourages desired actions, such as making a purchase or clicking on a link. The key is to create email campaigns that resonate with the audience, much like Mark Antony aimed to connect emotionally with the people of Rome. **The Stress of Working in Sales Literally Killed Me** I had a fantastic career in car sales, From a junior in 1995 on 100% commission to a Sales Manager managing a team of 20 sales professionals. I was earning great money, but working 6 or 7 days a week, often 70-80 hours when I was selling cars. Don’t get me wrong—I loved it. • The thrill of closing deals. • The pressure of targets. • The buzz of sealing the next big one. • And of course, the money. But it literally killed me. I burned out, and I knew something had to change. That’s when I was introduced to David Ogilvy and direct response copywriting—and I knew right away this was the career for me! Over the years, I’ve offered a variety of sales and marketing services, but direct response copywriting has always ticked all the boxes. It gives me the same feeling I had when I was closing deals on the showroom floor—but with a much healthier lifestyle. Now, I get to help businesses sell more products and services without either of us getting anywhere near burnout. I’m writing for them from anywhere in the world, and they’re selling more without the need for hard, exhausting selling. Both my clients and I are living happier, healthier lives as a result. most business don't get good enough sales not because their product doesn't give value but because they do not know how to speak to the mind of their customers. how well do they know you? how well do they trust you? nobody wants to throw their money on a product they do not know how much value they'll get in return. people are not fascinated by the beauty or your perceived worth of your product, they must know how much the product can solve their problems. remember you are not the only one who sells that product or service, why must they go for you? there are alot of ways to achieve this seamlessly and with my knowledge of copywritting I will walk with proven principles step by step to help you attract the right buying audience and also help you make them think of your product first when they think of the product or service you offer but first things first if you were in the buyers shoe will you buy your product and be willing to refer? if your product is good enough then there is absolutely no reason for low sales/interested audience, l will help you change the narrative in just 2weeks. #copywritingservices #copywriter #virtualassistantservices #remotework #excellence #linkedindaily #linkedingrowth
