🌊🌿🔄 Introducing our #ThematicProjects From the coast to our cities and farms, these projects tackle a whole host of challenges in the #Mediterranean through innovation and collaboration. They are grouped into ❹ focus areas: ❶Marine Resources ﹏𓊝﹏𓂁﹏ Interreg Euro-MED SPOWIND, 2B-BLUE, AZA4ICE and Blue Ecosystem are exploring ways to sustainably manage our oceans and coasts. These projects are leading efforts in marine energy and blue biotechnology to ensure a healthy and thriving Mediterranean Sea. ❷Agri-food systems 𖡼𖤣𖥧𖡼𓋼𖤣𖥧𓋼𓍊 Carbon Farming MED, Clepsydra and OliveOilMedNet help farmers adapt to climate change, promote carbon farming and improve water resource management. ❸Industrial transition ⫘⫘⫘ Focused on paving the way for a greener, more digital economy, the CircleMED Project, GREENSMARTMED Project, REVIVE and ProcuraMED projects are spearheading efforts to improve sustainable production and consumption, driving the industrial transition towards sustainability. ❹Resource valorisation 🗂️ REPper, eWAsTER Euro-MED, VERDEinMED aim to turn waste into valuable resources.
